3A molecular sieve is a potassium aluminosilicate crystal with a 3A crystal structure and a pore size of 3A. It is mainly used to adsorb water. According to the application characteristics in industry, the molecular sieves we produce have faster adsorption speed, more regeneration times, higher crushing strength and anti-pollution ability, which improves the utilization efficiency of molecular sieves and prolongs the service life of molecular sieves. It is the preferred desiccant for deep drying, refining and polymerization of gas and liquid in the petroleum and chemical industries.
Specific uses include: deep drying of petroleum cracking gas, ethylene, propylene, butadiene, acetylene and other gases, which can be used for drying liquids (such as ethanol, acetone), and can also be used as a desiccant in medical, food and other industries. In addition, it is also widely used in the insulating glass industry.
Due to its small pore size (about 3Å), 3A molecular sieve mainly adsorbs water molecules, but not larger molecules, so it is widely used in many applications that require precise dehumidification. The following are the main application areas of 3A molecular sieve:
Dehydration of natural gas and liquefied gas: In the process of natural gas processing, 3A molecular sieve is used to remove moisture from the gas to prevent ice blockage or hydrate formation during transportation and storage.
Air separation and drying: Used for dehumidification in air compression systems to protect system equipment from moisture.
Drying of chemical products: During chemical reactions and product storage, 3A molecular sieve is used to remove moisture from solvents, alcohols and other liquids.
Drying in the oil and gas industry: Used for moisture removal during oil and gas separation to ensure product quality and prevent corrosion.
Pharmaceutical industry: Used for drying pharmaceutical raw materials and products to ensure product stability and purity.
Packaging desiccant: Used in the packaging of electronic products, food and medicines to prevent products from getting wet.
Refrigerant drying: In refrigeration systems, 3A molecular sieves are used to remove moisture from refrigerants to prevent ice or acid formation in the system.
