Liquefied petroleum raw gas contains acidic components such as hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, mercaptan, and organic sulfur. These components will cause poisoning and deactivation of catalysts in the subsequent processing, corrode pipelines and storage containers, and have an adverse impact on production environmental protection.

5A molecular sieve is widely used in the desulfurization of liquefied petroleum gas.

5A molecular sieve is usually used for desulfurization of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

Here are the reasons:

5A molecular sieve: Its pore size is about 5 angstroms, which can effectively adsorb sulfides such as hydrogen sulfide (H₂S). 5A molecular sieve can not only be used to remove hydrogen sulfide from liquefied petroleum gas, but also remove some other impurities such as carbon dioxide (CO₂) and a small amount of water at the same time.

5A molecular sieve is an ideal choice for processing LPG because of its moderate pore size and can selectively adsorb sulfides without affecting the hydrocarbon components in liquefied petroleum gas. In addition, 5A molecular sieve is also commonly used in the desulfurization process of natural gas, refinery gas and other gases.

CNM 5A molecular sieve uses physical adsorption to remove hydrogen sulfide and organic sulfur in liquefied petroleum gas to a very low level, and can also remove other polar small molecular impurities such as water. CNM 5A molecular sieve has the characteristics of uniform pore size distribution, large specific surface area, large adsorption capacity, high removal rate, long service life, and can be desorbed and regenerated.

CNM 5A molecular sieve has been focusing on the adsorption field for 22 years. Pay attention to CNM and welcome inquiries.
